Ized Uanikhehi is Co-founder TORA Africa, an impact-driven Human resources technology startup that recruits, trains, verifies, and deploys drivers for all types of vehicles to organizations and individuals that require their services. She is also a convener of the largest community of digital marketing professionals in Africa - DigiClan and is driven by her life's goal to bridge the digital (gender) divide in Africa with community and collaboration.
Ized is a graduate of Biochemistry, with 14 years post-college experience in Marketing, who has spent the last 6 years changing the digital landscape through her work, using digital for advocacy and helping startups promote their businesses through digital. She has worked for and with multi-billion naira brands, international and local, successfully developing and working on a number of creative digital and offline marketing strategies to propel their brands forward. She was director of marketing, PR, and growth at MAX Okada and before joining MAX she was the social producer at CNN Africa.
