Jagadish Mahadevan is a Product Leader passionate about creating new customer experiences with innovative technology, which has been the central theme across all the roles that he’s played (Product Manager, Business Consultant, Tech Lead, Developer, etc.). He’s launched products and services in the retail omnichannel space to create rich and fulfilling customer experiences, improve operational efficiency and create synergies between multiple business functions.
Currently, Jagadish is a Product Manager at Facebook responsible for the Marketplace. Prior to this, he was a Group Product Manager at Groupon, leading product for pricing with the goal of influencing customer perception, identifying market trends, analyzing product mix, and understanding customer segments to define pricing product strategy in collaboration with merchandising and pricing business stakeholders. Additionally, he set up a TPM team at Groupon, ensuring a timely launch of cross-functional programs and managed large scale enterprise-wide initiatives spanning across more than ten teams, launched pricing initiatives to ensure Groupon beats competitors for 80% of products resulting in annualized incremental revenue of $72MM, and improved inventory availability by 2300 bps through optimized forecasting mechanisms.
Prior to his role at Groupon, Jagadish was a Senior Tech Product Manager at Amazon, where he was responsible for Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering initiatives, coordinated audits by internal, State, and Federal agencies, and led his team for launching “Requester” facing features on MTurk website, with the goal of increasing customer acquisition and improving customer productivity. Jagadish strongly believes in the power of data, and the profound impact it can have on business when used appropriately.
