John Kennedy

John Kennedy is a Head of Product with years of experience building great products. He is currently working on GameTech at Amazon Web Services. He started with the company as a Principal Product Manager before being promoted to his current role. Prior to that, he spent almost five years at Acquia. He began with the company as a Technical Director for the EMEA region. After just under two years he was promoted to Product Manager before later being promoted to Director of Product Management. He also has gained immense experience as an IT Manager, Operations Manager, and Software Engineer.

John earned his Bachelor of Information Technology, Information Systems, and Artificial Intelligence at Griffith University. Moreover, he decided to expand on his studies after graduation by returning to the university to earn a Graduate Certificate in International Business, Knowledge Management, and Cross-Cultural Communication.

John is a great communicator who knows how to talk to customers to get a clear understanding of their needs. He sets high standards for himself and through leading by example, inspires others to do the same. His wide range of knowledge gives him the ability to set up in a variety of roles, depending on where his team needs him, and deliver the necessary results to create value.
