Kate Hana

Currently working for Citi Bank, Kate Hana is a global Vice President Product Manager supporting the Treasury & Trade platform for international clients and their financial needs. Kate is a non-traditional “finance bro” and a passionate product professional with a knack for difficult personalities and an insatiable desire to bring order to chaos. As a late bloomer to both the LGBTQIA+ and Product communities, Kate aims to remind us of the importance of keeping an Agile mindset for our careers and our connections.

Before joining this team, Kate spent five years at American Express. Kate began as a Product Owner for the US digital acquisition journey. After just under two years, Kate was promoted to PM and began working on their global commercial card product. Kate's final role with the company was as a Senior PM for their global B2B partnership integration. Kate has also worked in the non-profit industry as an Associate Product Owner for the Immigration Advocates Network.

Kate has been impressing colleagues with a strong work ethic for many years. Kate helps to level up teams with data, transparency, and a strong will to learn. This allows the team to build what the customer really wants based on facts, not assumptions. Kate is also an extremely creative problem solver who knows the importance of getting to the root of a problem before it stands in the way of progress.
