Director of Product Marketing, Pendo
Marcus is the Director of Product Marketing at Pendo, where he brings a tremendous amount of passion to each and every one of his projects.
He is also an Ambassador for the Product Marketing Alliance in Boston, working to drive demand and success for the product marketing industry. Not to mention he is also the host of The Product Marketing Experts podcast and the author of Narrative Design for Business.
Previously he worked at HubSpot where he held roles including Principal Product Marketing Manager and Group Lead for Product Marketing. He led a team of Product Marketing Managers to create positioning and go-to-market strategy for numerous key products. Before that, he spent over three years working at Google. He began with the company as a Value Strategist working on Wildfire, their marketing software for social media marketers. His goal was to help the market understand the real value of social media. He later moved to an SMB Solutions Lead role, where he pushed their sales team to better sell AdWords by using sales collateral, training, and messaging.
Marcus holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the Indiana State University. He is described as a self-sufficient, reliable, and personable addition to any team or project.
