Margaret is a passionate Product Manager with excellent knowledge production and delivery to create and grow games for a large global audience. For the past 8 years, Margaret has been working at Riot Games. She began as a Program Designer leading the Organized Play team at Riot Games where she was responsible for the strategy and delivery of products to grow the grassroots support and events across the globe. Now, she’s Product Manager at Riot Games, leading the Social Experiences team at Riot Games being responsible for the vision and strategy for multiple products in League of Legends including Missions and Clubs. Once she graduated from McGill University with a Major in Finance and Concentration in Strategic Management, Margaret began her career in tech at Research in Motion “Blackberry” as a Management Assitant. Soon after, she worked as a Business Process Analyst for Scotiabank, where she was responsible for analyzing and reporting on traders’ portfolios performance and risks mainly focused and Asia and EU derivatives and currency hedging. Margaret then went on to be Co-Founder & President of GO Gaming, a company to grow local e-sports throughout Canada by developing and supporting creative local organizers. She’s driven by inspiring and leading her creative team to deliver exciting, high-quality experiences, and foster a fun, collaborative and positive environment to create great games.
