Matt was able to work across a variety of domains and contribute his impressive experience to companies in several roles, such as Product Manager, Operations Manager, and Consultant. Currently, he is the General Manager of Fly Ranch, which is the location of the Burning Man Project. Matt studied Philosophy at Harvard University and upon his graduation started working as a Privacy and Product Manager at Inflection. He then took on the opportunity of working for Facebook as a Privacy Program Manager, where he coordinated privacy and setting releases. Furthermore, he was a Product Manager for internal tools, settings, and download tools. His entrepreneurial mindset eventually led him to co-found a venture himself, called Ploty. There he held the position of COO and worked on Product, Fundraising, Operations, Sales, and Marketing. Matt has deep ethical beliefs and moral compass, which led him to work as a Research Fellow at Harvard Law School. Afterward, he went on to work as a Product Manager for Change.org and Water.org. Both companies have the aim of improving society and to bring real change to communities. This motivation can also be seen in his current project at Fly Ranch and Burning Man. Matt also has several publications to his name as he has done research on several legal topics, including protecting privacy, the balance-of-power framework and the ideological spectrum of American Nobel Peace Prize winners.
