Mike Hergenrader

Mike Hergenrader is a Waymo Product Leader with immense experience in ML, data, strategy, and consumer-facing products. Before Waymo, he worked for over three years at Apple on Siri Knowledge as a Senior PM and Principal PM. At Apple, he patented the Siri Integration with Guest Voices that allows the voice assistant to pass the mic for guest content.

Prior to that, he was a Technical Program Manager working on Search and Knowledge Capacity at Google. At Google, he led planning for an area with over 2,000 engineers and services used company-wide. He also implemented a capacity as a service initiative that simplified resource planning and operations for their search and knowledge services. Mike also previously worked as a Program Manager for Bing Ads Relevance and Experimentation at Microsoft.

Mike attended the University of Southern California (USC) for his Bachelor's in Computer Science and Spanish. He absolutely shined as a student, making the Dean's List every semester and earning the top department awards in both of his majors' departments. Mike also speaks seven languages including French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, and English.
