Rahul Prasad

Rahul enjoys working at the intersection of business, technology, and design to create new products and experiences for consumers. Building delightful products that are a tight integration of hardware, software, and services gets me up in the morning. Currently, Rahul is a Lead Product Manager at Facebook, leading a team of Product Managers that build the augmented reality platform that powers the Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Portal cameras. Prior to Rahul’s current role, he was a Senior Product Manager at Google, leading Daydream AR Platform - semantic scene understanding powered by deep learning and traditional computer vision approaches. Additionally, he was Product Manager on Google Streams, Photos, and Sharing team implementing growth and engagement, ranking and machine learning, content recommendation engine, notifications and personalization, and search. Dev began his engineering career working at Microsoft as a Senior Software Development Engineer, where he contributed to the design and development of the next-generation Bing web indexing infrastructure to support multiple order of magnitude scale and performance improvements. As well as, designed, implemented, and delivered core components of the Windows operating system across the 7 and 8 products, and mentored and grew several employees who went on to become strong contributors at Microsoft. Rahul has a BA in Computer Science from Ohio Wesleyan University, a MS in Computer Science from University of North Carolina, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago.
