Product Manager at Instagram
Richa is a Product Manager of Business Integrity at Instagram. She is responsible for ensuring Instagram is safe for all users and prioritizing good over bad actors. Prior to this, Richa was the Director of Product Management at Shutterfly, working on building a next-generation platform while also partnering with the VP
to create a three-year product strategy and 2019-20 product roadmap. Before joining Shutterly she gathered strong experience in consulting and management. Richa’s first professional experience was at McKinsey as a consultant, focusing on the South East Asian telecom market, specifically mergers and acquisitions. There she received an award for outstanding client impact, as she developed an impressive financial model for consolidation potential in that market. She then moved to the US and worked for Deloitte as a Manager and for Yumlane as an advisor. In her career, Richa has applied her passion for solving problems and love for data, which has helped her to create products that fulfill customer's desires. Richa holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business and Accounting from Panjab University. After some work experience, she did an MBA at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. She has stayed very connected with her Alma Mater, she is President of the Johnson Club of the Bay Area and is part of the Junior Alumni Advisory Council.
