Susmitha Kothari

Susmitha is an experienced Product Leader with a proven track record of delivering top-notch results. She has been working on the Microsoft team for more than 21 years, most recently as Principal Product Manager for the Azure Sphere. She is working to improve the security services in order to protect the future of IoT. Before that, she was a Principal Product Manager as well as a Senior Program Manager for Azure Developer Productivity. She has also been a Senior Program Manager for data analytics, Office 365 proactive outreach, and customer success engineering. Her focus was on creating goals to bring in more customers by improving customer support. She has also had two other Senior roles with the company as a Senior Software Engineer Lead and Senior Test Lead. Before joining Microsoft she was a Software and Research Engineer at Conceptual Mindworks. Susmitha has earned two Masters, from the University of Washington in Business Administration and the University of Texas at San Antonio in Digital Signal and Image Processing. Those who have worked with her praise her communication and interpersonal awareness skills that are part of the reason she is one of the best managers and mentors some of them have had.
