Tom Hall is a Product Manager at Government Digital Services, helping lead the digital services of the UK government. Throughout his lucrative career that spanned over 20 years, Tom has held various Product managerial roles in companies such as BBC and HSBC.
 

Tom began his professional career in San Francisco at Ninth House Networks as a Supervising Producer for two years. Shortly after, he took up the role of Educational Technology Specialist at Project HOPE and eventually he broke into Product at Lonely Planet Publications as a Senior Digital Product Manager, a position which he held for 6 years. Subsequently, Tom started attaining higher roles as a Product Manager and Director, leading companies in various industries including IT and Services, Broadcast Media, Computer Software, Financial Services, and Publishing. Thanks to his extensive experience and multidisciplinary approach that encompasses such diverse fields, Tom has developed qualities of the ideal product owner. He is described by his colleagues as someone who reveals tenacity, diligence and constant quest for excellence in his work. Today, at Government Digital Service, his main responsibilities include focusing on delivery an Alpha phase of the eIDAS digital identity initiative. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California San Diego.
