Tzuan is experienced in Business Communications, Project & Product Management, partnerships, strategic initiatives, monetization, and localization. He’s worn multiple hats in his career – researcher, translator, analyst, sales, planner, manager, leader, and entrepreneur. As a result, Tzuan is able to manage multi-disciplinary projects and stand up to complex challenges. His
specialties: Product Management, growth, partnerships, B2B and B2C eCommerce, games/gamification, and localization. Currently, he’s a Lead Product Manager at Alibaba Group, overseeing Shopper Membership & Loyalty programs. Before, Tzuan was a Senior Product Manager working on the Alibaba website with the B2B marketplace, PC, and mobile. Prior to his current role, Tzuan was a Lead Product Manager at Rakuten, working on global membership growth, integration, and Rakuten loyalty program - Rakuten Super Points global expansion. He began as a Senior Product Manager, managing the roadmap for global platform integration, connecting cross-department services to strengthen Rakuten's Product ecosystem, designing growth strategy for Japan and Global membership, and managing a cross-cultural PM team. Additionally at Rakuten, Tzuan produced product specification, technical and UX design, raw data analysis, and go-to-market planning. He was a founding team member of Fintech startup, focusing on scheduled and installment payments based in the Bay Area with a development center in Taipei.
