Vishal is an entrepreneurial professional with cross-cultural experience and interested in cloud computing, eCommerce, information science, and behavioral economics.
He’s worked as a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft, where he developed Modern Commerce strategy for all cloud services and software products, defined and tracked shippable scenarios to simplify the purchase and IT management experiences for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Azure customers/ partners. Vishal also used qualitative and quantitative data effectively to influence the company's 1st party catalog strategy, technical design, and roadmap. Prior to this role, he was a Product Manager of Business Planning, driving product launch strategy and business model execution spanning the multi-billion dollar Cloud & AI portfolio, and led pricing operations and onboarding of new offerings. For 5 years, Vishal managed complex program and product launches that delivered a premium CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote), order management, fulfillment, and billing/invoicing experience for partners and customers worldwide whilst driving down the cost for Microsoft. He began his career as an Ads Associate at Google, working on online advertising operations. Vishal consistently demonstrates the drive for excellence in everything he does. His approach to tackling challenging projects is to understand the problem, bring key stakeholders into the conversation to build the full picture, investigate key data points to build the business case, identify options and assess trade-offs, to arrive at the optimal solution.
