Vivek Raghunathan

Vivek Raghunathan started his career at Google working his way up until he became their Vice President of Product. Before this, he spent two years as a Senior Staff Software Engineer working on an experimental next-generation effort to create a stateful and assistive task-based search experience. His technologies became an integral part of Google Now. He then moved into a role as a Principal Engineer working on a variety of tasks for YouTube monetization and Google Now. Later he became a Distinguished Engineer to continue his work on YouTube monetization and drive strategy on the super fast-growing business. His most recent role at the company was as Vice President of Product where he led all the engineering for YouTube Monetization while working with the product and sales counterpart teams. For his most recent project, he has co-founded Neeva, an ad-free, private, and personal search engine. Vivek earned both his Master's and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois.
