William is a highly analytical and strategic Product Manager. He’s able to dive into detailed analysis and forecasting of many different industries and markets to find opportunities in new and existing markets as well as tie seemingly unrelated markets together; forecasting and detailed trend analysis is my happy place. Additionally, William is future-oriented looking at new and existing opportunities for market growth and efficiency gains, focusing on future impacts or current trends through economics training and analyst roles. William has informally managed many people and teams involved in products and projects in a matrix style organization, as well as coordinated individuals as a Volunteer Director for annual events. Currently, he’s a Principal Product Manager at Amazon, leading a team of product managers within Amazon Consumer to design, develop, and launching two distinct product lines in the Environment, Health, and Safety and the Learning Management Systems spaces, and setting, managing, and reporting product goals, financials, and strategies to senior leadership. He’s also responsible for providing product vision and strategy to guide 50+ developers across 4 teams in Toronto, Canada and Austin, Texas to deliver groundbreaking systems within Amazon's global ecosystem. William’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Economics from the University of Guelph.
