Pooja is a seasoned IT professional with the intelligence and business acumen who is passionate about big data, e-commerce, and the Internet of Things. Currently, she is leading the company’s efforts at Amazon to create and provide the most customer-centric e-commerce services. Pooja began her professional career at Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
She has spent 5 years progressively attaining Engineering positions and eventually she broke into Product and took up the role of a Senior Product Manager. Today, at Amazon, she is a Principal Product Manager for Alexa Smart Home and previously for Amazon Web Services. At work, she takes a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses the areas of Engineering, Business Analysis and Software Project Management, giving her a perfect blend of skills for her career in Product. Passionate about Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Pooja enjoys solving challenging problems and continues to develop her skills in Product Management and Business Analysis. She graduated from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering and earned MBA degrees from The London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Pooja is a truly compelling speaker who enjoys inspiring her audience to improve their performance.
