Jamal Eason

Jamal Eason is a Product Leader in the internet and mobile industries for both start-ups and large companies. He’s highly skilled in Strategic Planning, UX Design, Analytical Thinking, Go-to-market Strategy, Mobile Apps, and Leadership. Currently, Jamal is working as Director of Product Management at Google, where he launched Android Studio, the official app developer product from Google, that enables the Android app to make great apps for Android and the Android Developer Preview program, which gives Android app developers an early access preview of the next Android operating system release.

Jamal started working in tech at Bon’App as Product Manager and Business Development Manager. There, he provided consulting services on Business Plan Development, Product Development for the web platform and on the iPhone & Android platforms, and created a marketing plan and associated collateral. Soon after, Jamal moved to Intel Corporation as a Product Marketing Manager managing a strategic partnership around the Android platform in the Google Program Office at Intel Corporation, launching three software products for Android mobile app developers, and managing over 30 product/platforms in Intel mobile portfolio.

Jamal’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from West Point, a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
