What is vibe coding?
Vibe coding is building software by describing what you want in natural language, letting AI write the code, and steering the result with follow-up prompts until it works. At Product School, we teach it as a validation engine, not an engineering shortcut. It removes the wait between an idea and a working prototype, so product managers can test with real users and bring evidence to the room instead of slides. The AI writes the code, and you stay responsible for the decisions: what to build, what to test and what is good enough to ship.
What is the Vibe Coding Certification?
The Vibe Coding Certification is a live online course from Product School for working product managers. It teaches AI-assisted building as a validation engine, taking you from a fuzzy problem to a live, measured product. The course has 12 live hours of hands-on building, and you earn a Product School certificate at the end.
Is the Vibe Coding Certification the same as Product School's AI Prototyping Certification?
Yes. Vibe Coding is the AI Prototyping Certification, upgraded and renamed to keep pace with how fast AI building moves today. The rebuilt course takes you past the prototype to a live, deployed product, with the evidence to back the call to ship it. Some older listings still use the old name.
How do I start vibe coding as a product manager?
Pick a small, real problem and work in short loops: build something, show it to someone, learn from the reaction, decide what to change. The Vibe Coding Certification opens with this Build, Show, Learn, Decide loop so you feel how fast AI-assisted prototyping turns into product evidence. The later modules cover risk-based prototyping to test your riskiest assumption, prompt chaining for stability, turning prototypes into production specs, shipping with full-stack logic, and measuring performance to decide what comes next.
Do I need coding experience for the Vibe Coding Certification?
No prior coding experience is assumed, and setup is walked through live. It is still not a beginner course: Product School expects a solid understanding of AI in a product context and strongly advises completing the AI Product Management Certification first.
How long is the Vibe Coding Certification?
The course is 12 live hours, taught live online, with weekday and weekend cohorts to choose from. Every class starts with a short pre-read, and recordings are available afterward.
