Abhinav Sharma

Abhinav is an experienced Product Designer who is currently holding the position of Product Lead at Quora where he has been working for more than 5 years. As a Product Lead at Quora, Abhinav led the teams for Quora Spaces and Sessions. Under his leadership, cross-functional teams successfully managed to host sessions with Sheryl Sandberg, Vinod Khosla, Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine, Hunger Games Producer Nina Jacobson and Ashlee Vance, author of Elon Musk's biography. Prior to Quora, Abhinav held the position of Software Engineering & Data Science at Facebook, where he worked on Places Data Quality and Search. He was responsible to build metrics to measure the quality and coverage of Facebook's Places Database, which powers check-ins and local places discovery. He also prioritized and executed engineering projects to improve those metrics. Besides that, Abhinav started Instagram's migration from the Foursquare places database to Facebook's. Furthermore, Abhinav graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction.
