Alexandra Leloup is a seasoned Product Manager with more than 10 years of experience building and scaling products in B2B2C SaaS platforms, eCommerce, marketing, BI, and B2C mobile apps. Alexandra has a rare balance of business, marketing, and technical strengths, and she has a deep love for product and most of all, for user problems! She uses users and data insights to build compelling products and deliver engaging experiences.
Over the course of her 10 years of experience, Alexandra has had the opportunity to do product management for different industries, different types of organizations (small startups to big scale-ups), giving her a multidisciplinary exposure to how users' problems can be answered. She is currently holding the position of Head of Product at Deezer, a music and podcast streaming app where she leads a team of 40+ people together with the Head of Engineering. She manages four PMs directly and owns the vision and strategy for all the user-facing features of the app, from content discovery, playlists creation to the Search engine and the recommendation algorithms.
Prior to that, Alexandra was Head of Products at D-edge, a Hospitality software company, where she led a team of 9 people, including PMs, Product Designers, and Knowledge Managers. She was defining a global strategy for a portfolio of 15 products, answering needs from clients spanning Europe and APAC countries. Alexandra thrives to build high-performing organizations and believes in lean development methodologies. She moved organizations from tech-centric setups to product-centric setups, by implementing impact squads driven by OKRs and user needs. She also redefined the Product Management process to ensure all initiatives would follow the triptych: problem discovery, Solution, and development phases.
