Ash Sharma is a visionary product leader with a proven track record in building innovative products and high-performing teams. Currently, he leads Alexa's advancement as a conversational Generative AI assistant at Amazon, where he has made Alexa more helpful, personalized, and accessible. Ash spearheaded the development of Alexa's Generative AI concierge, which connects users with nearby businesses and activities. Overseeing an organization of 60 professionals across product, design, engineering, business analytics, and AI research, he has expanded Alexa's reach to 500 million endpoints, including home, mobile, and automotive devices. His leadership includes managing product KPIs, introducing novel monetization models, and forging strategic partnerships, pitching product strategy for substantial AI-based commerce opportunities to senior leadership.

Before Amazon, Ash co-founded Friday Night Labs, where he reimagined online search for Gen Z users with Bitcoin-powered apps that prioritize privacy and data reliability. He launched Kwalia and SalaryMonk, innovative apps offering local search recommendations and compensation data marketplaces, respectively. At Motorola Mobility, Ash served as Director of Product, where he built the world's first online service for user-customized smart devices, achieving $100M ARR and expanding the product line to include SaaS offerings. His work at Yahoo! involved growing mobile apps and the Entity Search Knowledge Graph to 40 million MAUs, significantly increasing revenue and user engagement.

With an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, Ash combines strategic acumen with technical expertise.
