Chantal is an excellent cross-cultural communicator and a creative problem solver, currently leading the company’s efforts as Head of Product at Government Digital Service. During her lucrative career, she has worked on mobile, web, and desktop products for users around the world including mobile4good initiatives in West Africa and South-East Asia.
Chantal is truly passionate about working with diverse teams of designers, developers and researchers to build products that meet the users' needs. In addition to this, she is also intellectually curious and eager to learn new skills - from Arabic to UX design to software development. Today, she is leading the digital transformation of the UK government, working on a wide range of activities in emerging economies to help tackle corruption in procurement. Prior to her current position, she has contributed to Workshare where she first broke into Product; her main responsibilities included managing the product development cycle for two mobile apps (iOS and Android). On top of her professional endeavors, Chantal is also an avid volunteer; to date, she participates actively in digital volunteering focused on pre-crisis and crisis mapping while supporting other development initiatives.
She graduated from Aston University with a Bachelor of Science in Politics and International Relations and holds a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of East Anglia.
