Faran Najam is a Product Manager at Splunk of Projects Data and Insights. He is a data fanatic and is all about driving outcomes with quantitative and qualitative reasoning. At the beginning of his career in an emerging mobile market, Faran quickly became a seasoned expert in managed services, product management, mobile app development, and quality assurance. He then applied those skills to deliver an unmatched TV experience for sports enthusiasts and learned to ship 'what is necessary' if it meant making deadlines that cannot be changed, like the 2016 Rio Olympics. After 7 years in the media industry, Faran yearned for wanting to be more data-driven where he joined Splunk. He currently collaborates across the organization operationalizing data collection and enablement. Moreover, Faran was also a Product Manager at Product School where he taught Product Managers how to apply frameworks to help customers win.
