Joe Kendall

Joe is a systems problem solver who leads teams of designers, engineers, and product managers. He takes a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses the fields of technology, sustainability, and design to build products that benefit people’s daily lives.

In his career, he has worn many hats as a designer, engineer, and product manager while synthesizing complex information into coherent solutions. Currently, at RetailMeNot, Joe started his career at Bose building speakers and spent the years in between at IBM and a variety of startups, exploring everything from innovation consulting for Fortune 100 clients to venture-backed clean-tech to the infamous three guys in the garage. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found the first coworking space in Albuquerque with a focus on collaborations and pre-seed-stage startups. Along the way, he’s built and shipped over 30 different consumer and industrial products used by thousands of people in both B2C and B2B environments.

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and earned a Master of Science in Product Design from Stanford University. When he is not thinking and working in systems, Joe enjoys recharging through crafting simple physical objects. Outside of work, he can be found with a tool in his hand or happily spending time with his family.
