Earlier in her career, Karla co-founded Westward Leaning – an eyewear company. She currently sits on the board of the company. While at the company, she focused on manufacturing and operations.

She also led a family office focusing on traditional investments, tax, and estate planning.
She is passionate about education, operations, and getting things done.
