Michael is an experienced entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. Currently, he is the Co-Founder and CEO at Grain, a company that records, transcribes, and shares highlights of Zoom video calls. Prior to this, he was the Co-Founder and CPO of MissionU, a one-year college alternative for the 21st century that charges $0 upfront tuition and prepares students for the jobs of today and tomorrow debt-free. The company was later acquired by WeWork in 2018. Before that, Michael was the VP of Corporate Training, Outcomes, and Alumni at Hack Reactor. He was also a Software Engineer at OpenTable and the Co-Founder of Degreed, an upskilling platform that connects learning to opportunities. Moreover, Micheal is skilled in Negotiation, Edtech, Databases, Ruby, and HTML. He is a strong business development professional with a B.S. focused in Economics from Brigham Young University.
