Prashant Sharma

Prashant Sharma has decades of experience working in the finance industry and building products that make it easier for both merchants and buyers to transfer funds. He is currently working as VP of Product at Mastercard where he is driving the Digital Identity strategy and roadmap. He has been with the company for almost 15 years, having started as a Senior Technical Architect before moving onto the product team in 2012.

Prashant earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University. Right after graduating from that program, he decided to further his education by pursuing an MBA in Information Systems at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (Indore University). He also holds an MBA from the Institute of Management Studies.

According to his colleagues, Prashant has played a key role in the success of many of the projects that he has been a part of. He works well with not only those on his team but clients too, due to his top-notch communication abilities. He can understand the technological side of projects as well as the business side, making him a great person to bring various stakeholders together towards a common purpose.
