Prerna Singh

Prerna Singh is VP of Product at Meetup, heading the design and product teams as they work to create a better mobile and web experience. She was promoted to her current role after just a year and a half of serving as Senior Director of Product. Before this, she worked as VP of Product at CoEdition, an early-stage eCommerce startup where she leads product, design, data science, and engineering teams. Prior to CoEdition, she was Director of Product at Quartz, where she led the product and data science innovation team for Quartz Creative, the in-house creative services team dedicated to helping brands effectively storytell.

Prerna's experience also includes leading data science and analytics at Mashable as a Senior Product Manager, where she led a team of data scientists, engineers, and designers to build internal data tools to empower data-driven decision-making across the company. Prerna originally started her career as a Consultant in the IBM Interactive Experience group, guiding Fortune 500 companies like Google and Nestle to understand their users better and build products with delightful user experiences.

Prerna graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Business Administration and Human-Computer Interaction, and a minor in Mechanical Engineering. She is the Founder and CEO of a non-profit, The Pledging Tree Foundation, and sits on the President’s Advisory Board at Carnegie Mellon University. She also co-leads the Women in Product community in New York City, is President of the CMU NYC Alumni Chapter, and serves as a Product Mentor to rising startup operators.
