Saravanar Boopalan

Saravanar Boopalan is an experienced PM currently leading the engineering, product, and program team at Amazon. He has been with the company since 2016. Before this, he worked at RB, a fortune 500 global consumer goods company. He was hired out of school as a Global Leadership Development Program Management Trainee. After just one year in that role, he was promoted to Product Leader, where he began working on budgeting and their main portfolio. Saravanar also previously worked at Boeing as a Software Developer for their Product Lifecycle Management.

For his undergraduate studies, Saravanar attended Anna University, where he studied Engineering and dedicated his free time as Head of the Maths Club. After that, he went on to continue his education at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, earning his MBA in Product and Technology Management.

Saravanar has been described by colleagues as an inspirational leader who truly cares about who he works with and what he works on. He has a special talent for getting to the core of his user's problems and exceeding their expectations when finding ways to solve them. He is not only talented but also extremely down to earth and someone his teammates feel comfortable approaching when they need a helping hand.
