Sonia Sarao

Sonia is highly experienced when it comes to the world of Product. She has years of experience leading product vision & strategy, product development, strategic partnerships, and corporate development. She is currently a Vice President of Product at Groove, the leading sales engagement platform for enterprises that use Salesforce. She is also an Expert-in-Residence at Rippleworks, a company that pairs leading executives in technology and business with promising social ventures to speed up impact. She also volunteers as Co-Lead for the San Francisco Chapter of Women in Product.

Before this, she spent almost five years working at Fluxx. She began as the companies first product hire, as Director of Product Management where she built the PM and development teams from scratch. As her department grew by raising the companies recurring revenue by multi-millions, she moved into a Senior Director of Product role before becoming the VP of Product and Engineering.

She started her career as a Software Consultant for Siterra before becoming a Software Engineer at Archipelago. She began to dip her toes into the world of Product at NYSE Euronext as a Senior Business Analyst for their Market Data Products.

Sonia is not only a Certified ScrumMaster but also the first graduate of Product School. In addition to that, she holds a Bachelor in Computer Science from Punjab Technical University and a Master's in Software Engineering from the University of Texas, Dallas.
