Sushmitha Nannuru

Sushmitha is a Product Manager with a problem solving and data-driven approach. Currently, she’s a Senior Product Manager Technical of AWS Backup, a fully-managed data protection service that enables AWS customers to centralize and automate the back up of data across AWS services in the cloud as well as on-premises using the AWS Storage Gateway. Prior to Sushmitha’s current role, she had an MBA Internship of Global Sourcing Manager for Apple in Cupertino and Shanghai, where she executed strategic sourcing projects in preparation for Apple's entry into a new market, created a development roadmap, and performed cost and process feasibility analysis for a new environmental initiative tied to launch of next-generation Apple devices. Sushmitha got her start in Management at Unilever working in various roles. She began as a Management Trainee in Supply Chain, working on multiple live projects over the course of 15 months in various functions of HUL Supply Chain like Manufacturing, Supply and Demand Planning, Logistics and Customer Service, Procurement, Engineering, Innovation, and Sales. After a little over a year, Sushmitha became a Manufacturing Manager, leading a team of 5 executives and over 350 permanent as well as contract employees responsible for the cost, service, and quality of the goods delivered by the factory. Lastly, she was a Demand Planning Manager, responsible for Sales and Operational Planning,  and Demand Forecasting process for $1 billion Foods & Refreshments business of Unilever in India. Sushmitha has a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.
