Uttam Kumar

Uttam is an innovative digital product development and technology leader with years of experience in both product and project management. During his lucrative career, he has been enabling clients to achieve business excellence using data analytics and digital technology via a defined product vision and strategy.

Uttam began his professional career as an Engineer, successfully attaining higher roles in fleet and ship management. Upon obtaining his MBA, he eventually broke into Product at The DEI Group, a provider of professional technology services for plant asset management. He has proven expertise in building cross-functional teams and leading strategic engagements and digital transformation with global clients. His specific areas of expertise include Strategy, Internet Of Things and Analytics, but he is also highly competent in UI prototyping, stakeholder management, and agile software development. Today, Uttam is a Senior Product Manager at Alpha Ori Technology, currently based at their location in Singapore.

Moreover, Uttam has been awarded many certifications; he is certified in Product Management for the Internet of Things and as a Supply Chain and Product Management Professional, to name a few. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Marine Engineering and Research Institute and an MBA from North Carolina State University.
