Joe Spisak

Joe Spisak is a Product Lead at Meta AI. He has nearly a decade of experience building platforms and tools used by a global community of AI innovators building the cutting edge of AI. Working for companies such as Meta/Facebook, Amazon, and Intel, Joe is a Product Leader sitting at the intersection of AI Product, Open Source, Community Building, and Partnerships. He currently leads AI for Science in FAIR, a relatively new but quickly growing organization focused on bridging science and AI to deliver major breakthroughs.

Previously Joe led product for PyTorch, an open-source AI Research to Production platform, which is deployed in AR/VR, CV, NLP, Speech and On-Device at scale both at FB and more broadly along with building co-engineering collaborations across company collaborations with Google, Amazon, OpenAI, Microsoft, and many others. Prior to this, Joe was an early employee of Amazon AI leading a product team and global AI partnerships. He also led ML strategy for Intel Cloud and spent a decade in the semiconductor space doing everything from Design and Strategy to Product Management. Lastly, he advises and works with a number of innovative AI startups as an Executive in Residence with Canvas Ventures and speaks publicly at top AI conferences such as Facebook’s F8, NeurIPS, and Amazon’s Re:Invent.
