Andrej Danko

Andrej loves the intersection of Product, design, and engineering. Entrepreneurial in nature, with experience in global enterprise software and start-up firms. He had the privilege to lead small and large, high-performing, and culturally-diverse teams across the globe and deliver outstanding value to thousands of customers worldwide. Throughout his career, Andrej gained managerial and operational experience in corporate strategy, Product Management and design, engineering, research, and finance. Currently, he’s Vice President of Product & Design at productboard, the leading Product Management system, helping Product teams get the right Products to market, faster. Over 2,500 modern, customer-driven companies – like Zendesk, UiPath, Avast, Microsoft – use productboard to understand what users need, prioritize what to build next, and rally everyone around their roadmap. Prior to productboard, he worked on several cutting-edge AI companies, helped to scale SAP’s SME business management solution globally, and built SaaS platforms when they had no category yet. Andrej was VP of Product & Design at Merlon Intelligence, where he launched the first version, ran PoCs and customer success, secured a $m+ deals, and drove business development, Product, design, and customer success. He’s an MIT Sloan Fellow MBA ‘14, has a Ph.D. and MS in Applied Computer Science, and IEEE Senior Member and MIT $100K business entrepreneurship competition judge.
