Austin Chen

Austin Chen is a seasoned Product Leader with over 8 years of experience in building and growing high functioning teams in product, analytics, and operations. Currently working as the Head of Product at Apple, where he leads the teams working on Platoon, a London-based music startup acquired in 2018. Austin’s mission as a product leader is to build products that empower the creator economy. Before his work at Apple, Austin also co-founded Asaii, a talent platform for the music industry which provides actionable music data, insights, and trends so that it is easier for entertainment professionals to find, manage, and grow talent.
