Ben Celebicic

Ben Celebicic is a product and technology executive with over 15 years of experience who serves as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Hinge. Tasked with unifying product and engineering under a single mandate, he leads an organization of roughly 300 people across both functions. Ben has been at Hinge for 11 years, since the 2015 relaunch, and had the product title added to his technology role, which means he now negotiates the classic CPO versus CTO tension inside his own head rather than across a conference table.

At Hinge, Ben drives the product and engineering decisions behind one of the most used dating apps in the world, working at the intersection of recommendation systems, user safety, and machine learning applied to human connection. Before Hinge he was Mobile Practice Lead at Abercrombie and Fitch, leading software development across mobile, ecommerce, and CRM, and earlier held engineering roles including time at Intel. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Computer Science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Haifa.
