Benin Saffo

Benin Saffo is bringing the future of VR to life as a Senior Product Manager at Oculus VR, part of the Facebook Reality Labs team. Before this, Benin spent four years as a Senior Product Manager at IBM in New York City. She kicked off her tech career at PepsiCo where she worked as a Future Leader Supply Chain Operations M&W Production Intern. During her short but impactful time there, she developed a slot inventory map that is still used today.

Benin attended the Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University for her Bachelor's in Engineering and Applied Physics. During her studies, she was a Pre-College Initiative Chair on the National Society of Black Engineers, a Physics Tutor at Florida A&M University, as well as an Engineering Assistant at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.
