Bill Back has 25 years of experience building, designing, and developing software and leading people and projects from the very beginning. He has been active and influential in the development of many products and projects that have helped to grow the many organizations and teams he has been a part of. According to his colleagues, he can work at both a strategic and deep technical level. He exudes great leadership skills and knowledge that make him a valuable mentor to those working alongside him.
Bill is currently a Principal Customer Success Architect at ThoughtSpot. Before that, he was a Customer Adoption Architect with the company for just over five years. He also has experience working as the Director of Embedded and Enterprise Services at Pentaho. There he helped his clients, which spanned from small startups to global enterprises, achieve success by defining and developing service offerings for them.
Bill also spent three years as part of the team at Accenture. He started off as a Program Manager, then became a Chief Architect for Modeling and SImulation, before finally ending his time with the company as an Agile Coach to a distributed software development team at Best Buy. He has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Developer.
Bill went to the University of Maryland for his undergraduate. There he earned a Bachelor in Computer Studies. He later would go on to receive a Master's in Computer Information Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is also a Certified ThoughtSpot Data Expert and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
