Billy Carlson

Billy Carlson has been working on Design Education at Balsamiq for the past three years. He is also an instructor at UCLA Extension and an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University. Previously, Billy worked on UX and Design at KeHE Distributors.

He also has worked as a Senior Manager of User Experience at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, as Director of UX and Mobile Product Owner at Threadless, and as a UX Mentor at Bloc. Billy is a helpful mentor that gives honest feedback and guidance to help his mentees unlock their greatest potential.

Billy attended Northern Illinois University for his undergraduate studies. He graduated with a BFA in Visual Communication.
