Bryan Shao

Bryan Shao is a Technical Product Management Lead at Meta, who has spent his career helping both large organizations and startups create the best products and product teams to realize sustainable value beyond initial MVPs. He managed products and coached innovation at leading technology and digital brands across fin-tech, healthcare, eCommerce, digital marketing, social innovation, and AI use cases.

He started off his career as a Software Developer at JPMorgan & Chase Co., a leading global financial services firm. His entrepreneurial mindset eventually led him to found his own startup, Circlelab, under which Bryan advised startups in product strategy, innovation, leadership, and culture development to generate sustainable product value for customers. Before that, he worked in fin-tech and IT & services, where he held various managerial roles in Product and Software Development.

At Meta, Bryan is known for his candid discussions about the realities of product management, sharing insights that go beyond typical industry conversations. He continues to coach and mentor a wide range of PMs internally, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Throughout his career, Bryan has helped both large organizations and startups create sustainable value, managing products and driving innovation in fintech, digital enterprise, consumer applications, eCommerce, and social enterprise.

Bryan earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Business and Management, both from the University of Strathclyde.
