Cecilia Liu

Cecilia Liu is a seasoned product executive with over 15 years of experience in building and scaling next-generation consumer and enterprise software. Known for her innovative approach and strategic thinking, she has a proven track record in successfully leading diverse teams through the entire product lifecycle from conception to scale and profitability. Her experiences encompass mobile, SaaS, and platform products at both start-ups and Fortune 100 companies.

Currently, Cecilia is the Head of Product at Sprig – a leading product insight platform with strong AI differentiation. Her work at Sprig focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to empower product managers to enhance product experience and deliver innovative solutions. Since joining Sprig in June 2024, she has been instrumental in driving the company’s AI strategy, resulting in significant advancements in product offerings and differentiation.

Before Sprig, Cecilia oversaw product and engineering functions for core background check products at Checkr Inc., leading the transformation from early product market fit to industry leadership. She also played a pivotal role in strategic partnerships and supply chain management, and was instrumental in achieving significant revenue growth and operational efficiencies for the company. Her tenure at Intel Corporation prior to Checkr saw her manage international teams, scaling multiple mobile and SaaS products to millions of users in 17 countries.

Cecilia began her career as a founder and entrepreneur while attending graduate school. She holds a Masters degree in Education from Columbia University. Beyond her professional achievements, Cecilia is known for her commitment to lifelong learning, passion for organizational development, and advocacy for empathetic design. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and their two year old daughter.
