Chris Heisel

Chris Heisel is not only a great Product Leader but also a great Mentor to each and everyone on his team. He is currently a Group Product Manager at Square where he is leading teams and managers on their payment platform group. He also worked as a Product Manager specifically on their terminal API product, which he saw from alpha and made it to a team for launch. Alongside launching other products for the company he also secured investment to grow from one team to eight in order to expand the capabilities of his product to better serve sellers, developers, and partners all while maintaining the same level of service they were known for. Before Square, he worked as the Director of Engineering for Pindrop. He was a part of building their second product on a cloud-based microservices architecture. He also improved a variety of elements across the company to create the best product and smoothest operations. He also has worked as Head of Engineering for Kabbage and Director of Platform Services and Software for Cox Media Group. For both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees, Chris went to the University of Missouri where he studied Journalism and Media Management.
