Dave Feldman
VP of Product Design, Heap
Dave is a Product Design Leader that enjoys making stuff for people. Currently, he’s Vice President of Design at Heap, being responsible for user experience, look & feel, brand/communication design, user research, and product planning (in partnership with my cross-functional counterparts). Additionally, Dave also sits on the executive team to help chart the company's course and served as interim VP Product, and managing their team of Product Managers in addition to designers. Prior to his current position, Dave was a Product Design Manager for the Messenger Developer Platform at Facebook, where he led Product Design for the Messenger Platform, Messenger Games, Messenger Monetization, and managed a team of designers. He also worked closely with Partnerships and developers to understand what they needed from a messaging platform, evolved the best-practices docs for Messenger developers, and led the creation of open-source templates for common bot flows. Before Facebook, Dave worked as a Product Design Manager at Google, managing the 10-15 person design team responsible for Gmail and Inbox, with employees in Mountain View and Zurich, and rebuilt the team, and helped drive the product strategy for Inbox following its initial launch. Dave has a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard University.
