Devika Nair

Devika is a Product Manager with a decade of experience building finance, retail, and cloud products. She is currently the Director of Product Management at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Before that, she was a Principal Product Manager and Senior Product Manager at Amazon Web Services.

She also has experience working as a Senior Product Manager at Sears. There she led three major engineering projects to externalize machine learning models, expand the online and email channels while reducing customer contact time from one week to real-time. She worked across different departments and with vendors to create project roadmaps and to improve upon existing projects. She also interned at Hewlett Packard Enterprise within the Chief Operating Office Organization.

Devika attended the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka where she earned a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering. She was an active member of the student community, organizing workshops, contests, and the inter-college technical fest. She later went on to earn a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating with an almost perfect GPA.

According to her colleague, Devika is an amazing people person and is able to connect with people of all levels. This personability helps her to converse with engineers directly while understanding flawlessly what is needed to recommend product revisions and innovate and propose alternative solutions.
