Helena Buhr is a highly experienced product leader with a strong track record of building successful product management teams. Over the course of her career, she has focused on growth and engagement strategies for consumer software, including well-known brands like Spotify, Facebook Newsfeed, and Google job search. Helena thrives in dynamic environments that demand high levels of entrepreneurship, creativity, and analytical thinking, and brings a unique perspective to product development with her background as an Economic Sociologist.

At Spotify, Helena held multiple leadership roles including Director of Product Management, where she was responsible for a team of approximately 15 product managers. Her focus was on developing opportunities that step-changed user growth and monetization, resulting in consistently shipped products with a significant impact on top-line MAU and revenue. Helena was also a passionate ambassador for the product management craft, creating the Rotational Product Management program to train the next generation of product leaders for the company.

Prior to her time at Spotify, Helena was a Product Manager at Facebook, where she optimized the Facebook newsfeed for "quality time spent" and utilized machine learning to optimize Facebook's notification tab and engagement driving push notifications. She also spent time as a Technical Project Manager at Google, where she was responsible for a set of search and recommendation experiences and was part of the team that built the first version of Google's job search solutions.

Throughout her career, Helena has been highly regarded for her ability to provide constructive feedback in a respectful manner and challenge product strategy. She is an exceptional product leader and a valuable asset to any team.
