Ifeanyi Okafor

Ifeanyi Okafor is an AI/ML Senior Product Manager (Technical) at AWS—where he builds AI/ML products that solve customer problems at scale. Before joining AWS AI, he led the development of an end-to-end product strategy for new AWS regions in Asia Pacific, successfully delivering four new AWS regions in Asia Pacific. He holds a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (FUTO) and an MBA (Yale). Before joining AWS, he worked for Schlumberger in West Africa and Brazil, leading engineering teams on high-profile deep offshore oil and gas projects.

In his spare time, he plays around with landscape photography and goes mountain biking. Ifeanyi is a blockchain optimist. He believes that in the next 50 years, blockchain technology will transform lives in developing countries more significantly than AI.
