Jacob Carpenter is a Nike Senior Product Manager who loves to build for a more evolved and compassionate world. He has been working at Nike since 2019, focusing on B2B experiences. He is currently working on B2B eCommerce Order Capture. He also held the role of Interim Director of PM for the B2B eCommerce team, redefining the vision for the ordering experience. He is also the Founder and a Principal Product advisor at his company Pacific Reach, where he helps startups and Fortune 100 companies build powerful strategies and find their product/market fit. Previously, Jacob was Global Director of Product Management for people analytics and HR tech innovation and Anheuser-Busch InBev and a Sales & Marketing Manager at Unilever.
Jacob has an extensive education background, having attended some of the country's top universities. He began at the Ohio State University, where he earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration, Logistics Management, and Operations. He later went on to MIT, where he completed their MIT Institute for Work and Employment Research course, where he learned about the relationship between up-and-coming technologies and how they fit into today's workforce. He also took part in their Executive Education Program on AI: Implications for Business Strategy. He has also participated in Executive Education Programs at Harvard and Stanford and earned his Product Leader and Product Executive certification from Product School.
