Janey Zhang is a Product Manager with years of development and research experience. Currently, she works as a Product Development Manager at American Express. While in this role, Janey launched content and layout personalization experiences on Amex acquisition webpages, personalized offers on Amex webpages, and launched content and layout personalization experiences on Amex acquisition webpages. Prior to this position, Janey was a Strategy Consultant at IBM for Watson Group where she defined AI use cases and go-to-market strategies for Watson's financial services sector practice, led design and tech team to develop user experiences for Watson proof-of-concepts, and delivered innovation strategy and business benefit analysis on consulting projects for financial services and consumer tech companies in North America and Asia Pacific. Janey began her career as a Research Intern at Dartmouth College and developed predictive models for SME business growth and interactive learning product for Intel Perceptual Computing SDK Contest. There, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Mathematics and culminated experiences in International Trade and Mathematical Statistics. Some of Janey’s accomplishments include American Express & Harvard Certificate in Leadership Excellence and 2013 Intel Perceptual Computing Challenge Pioneer Award for Creative User Experience.
