Jay Lee
SVP, Head of Product Experience at NBA
Jay Lee serves as Head of Consumer Experience, DTC Products, Tech & Ops for the NBA. In this role, Lee leads the consumer product experience team at the NBA, responsible for the NBA App, NBA.com, NBA ID, and the NBA’s direct-to-consumer live streaming service, League Pass, which is available to fans in more than 200 global territories across web, mobile, connected devices, gaming consoles, and emerging
platforms. Lee is responsible for product strategy, roadmap development, and managing product teams with a focus on the content experience, personalization, live games, streaming, fan engagement, commerce, membership, and platform innovation.
Lee also oversees the team that built the Next Gen product experience for the NBA, focused on live streaming innovation, distinct storytelling, personalization at scale and engaging the league’s global fan community. Previously, he led global product development, strategy and growth for the NBA’s international product portfolio which included NBA apps, websites, and NBA League Pass.
Prior to joining the NBA, Lee led product strategy, roadmap definition, and execution at Nike for their coaching, running (NRC), and training (NTC) mobile products. Before joining Nike, he spent eight years at ESPN working across mobile, video, and international digital media, where he helped launch the first mobile and streaming products, including ScoreCenter, the ESPN App, Fantasy, College Football, and Watch ESPN, which reach millions of fans today.
